Tamil Nadu land records
The records this site covers.
Tamil Nadu revenue records and registration records serve different purposes. Patta chitta, FMB, A-register and TSLR services are available through Tamil Nadu e-Services. Encumbrance Certificates are registration records available through TNREGINET, the Tamil Nadu Registration Department portal. Open a record page to see what it contains, or use a free finder if you do not know your survey number or Sub-Registrar Office.

Why View Patta
The record is public. Getting it out is not.
We do that part, and tell you what it says.
The portal wants district, taluk and village in exactly the right order, times out under load, and often hands back half a page.
- A record you can read
- Complete and legible, checked before it reaches you. Not half a page, and not a scan you squint at.
- No need to know which one
- Patta chitta, EC, FMB sketch, A-register — each says what it proves and when people ask for it.
- Yours for 180 days
- Open it again when the bank or the lawyer asks. No second search, no starting over.
What you get
The document itself, not a summary.
Whatever you searched for, this is what arrives.
-
Straight from the source
Fetched from the government portal at the moment you ask, not served from a copy saved earlier and never checked again.
-
The whole document
Every page, as it was issued. We do not retype it, summarise it, or decide for you which parts matter.
-
A file you can send on
Forward it to the bank, the lawyer or the buyer. It opens on a phone and prints without anyone needing to log in.

Questions
Before you start.
Including the two most people ask: whether we are the government, and what happens if the record is not there.
How do I get my patta online in Tamil Nadu?
For Patta chitta, start with your village and survey number, or your patta number. Tamil Nadu e-Services provides the government’s online revenue-record services. For an Encumbrance Certificate, use the separate EC search; ECs are registration records available through TNREGINET. Check the relevant record page for the details you need and the service available.
Is View Patta a government website?
No. View Patta is a private service operated by Quiro Tech Solutions, Chennai. We are not affiliated with any government body. Revenue-record services are available through Tamil Nadu e-Services; Encumbrance Certificates are registration records available through TNREGINET. View Patta provides separate assistance with finding and requesting these records.
What happens if you cannot find my record?
Nothing is asked of you. We look first and only ask second, once we already hold a complete, readable record for your survey number.
If the portal has no record, returns something incomplete, or does not respond, you see exactly what happened and you are not charged.
How long does it take?
Usually under 30 seconds, because that is how long the government portal takes to answer.
We show you the real stages as they complete rather than a made-up progress bar. If it passes three minutes we stop, tell you, and charge nothing.
Is this an official or certified copy?
It is an information copy — the same document the e-Services portal issues online, with the same content.
A certified copy for court or registration purposes must be obtained from the taluk office. We say so plainly rather than letting you find out later.
What do I need before I start?
The village and the survey number, or the patta number. If you do not have the survey number it is printed on an existing patta, chitta or sale deed.
You will also need a mobile number, so we can send the record and let you open it again for 180 days.
